What kind of medical facilities are available? What if I take medication?

Salisbury's Health Center maintains a licensed 5-bed infirmary. Medical services, such as evaluations, treatments of illness and injuries, as well as dispensing of medications, are available to all students under the supervision of the school nurse and school physician. No prescription medications are kept by students in their dormitories. The Health Center staff extends themselves to provide individualized personal care to our students. Our policy is to attempt to notify parents or guardians of any medical problems. We provide a supportive atmosphere for our adolescent population and their particular needs and welcome parent communication. All medical paperwork, rules and medication policies may be downloaded by clicking here.
